1. Data controller

2. Data we process
- Customers: mobile number (sign-in with a WhatsApp or SMS code), or email or Google/Apple account; name if provided; bookings (car wash, day, time, wash type, number plate if entered).
- Car wash owners: business name, address, VAT number, email, owner's mobile, prices, opening hours and services; billing data.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, security logs.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Creating the account and managing bookings: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Sending sign-in codes, confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp, SMS or email: performance of a contract.
- Verifying that each car wash is a real business (VAT check, email confirmation, phone call to the owner): legitimate interest in protecting customers (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Invoicing and tax duties: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.
4. Recipients
The car wash you book receives your name, mobile number and booking details. Data is processed on our behalf by providers appointed as processors: Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication, EU servers), Twilio and Meta/WhatsApp (codes and messages), Google (maps and Google sign-in), Apple (Apple sign-in), a transactional email service. Some providers may transfer data outside the EU; in that case we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Retention
Account: while active and up to 24 months of inactivity. Bookings: 24 months. Billing data: 10 years (legal obligation). Technical logs: up to 12 months.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or your local authority.
7. Cookies
The site only uses strictly necessary storage (chosen language, sign-in session). The Google Maps map may set Google cookies when displayed; see Google's privacy policy for details.
